I am a Lector and Associate Research Scholar in Slavic Languages and Literatures at Yale University. My interests include Russian emigration of the 1920-1930s; V. Khodasevich, I. Bunin, and V. Nabokov; the genre of biography and pseudo-autobiography; memoirs; early Soviet literature through the lens of Russian emigration. I am an ACTFL certified full OPI tester of Russian. Prior to Yale, I was teaching at the University of Maryland and under the Fulbright FLTA Program at Grinnell College.
